Music Ministry

The ultimate goal of The Brigades Youth Music Ministry is to bring the presence of God through our praise and worship (1Pet 2:5). Our Music Ministry equip and encourage our youth community using their God's given talents in vocal and music to be a true worshipper, to serve the Lord through singing and playing their musical instrument.

“But an hour is coming and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and truth; for such people the Father seeks to be His worshippers. God is spirit, and those who worship him must worship in spirit and truth." (John 4:23-24)

The Music Ministry at The Brigades Youth is always looking for those in our youth community who desire and committed to use their gifts of music in relation to our worship! At The Brigades Youth, our Music Ministry Team is made up of: lead worshippers, backing vocals, singers and musicians.

If you have gifts and talents in music, use it for the glory of the Lord and save our generations!

"The Lord is my strength and my shield; my heart trusted in Him, and I am helped: therefore my heart greatly rejoice; and with my song will I praise Him." (Psalms 28:7)

Music Training & Development:
As vocalists & musicians, our team believe that music training and development is essential!

Sing to Him a new song; play skillfully and shout for joy. (Psalm 33:3)
Along with their relatives - all of them trained and skilled in music for the LORD. (1 Chronicles 25:7 - NIV)

In our music ministry, there are various of skills and combination from moderate to advanced vocalists & musicians. You will need to continuously developing your musical skills and techniques (i.e. your vocal and your musical playing) outside the team's rehearsal time. By equiping yourself with great skills such as music ear training for example, you can be even more free to worship!!

Commitment:
Please also note that The Brigades Youth Music Ministry also requires the highest level of commitment. Time commitment is the most integral part of The Brigades Youth music ministry, this will include weekly worship team meetings/rehearsals, Sunday service and other special youth worship events.
